While losing a job is a low point in any career, I have found it to be an excellent time for reflection. Unless you were fired for something you did wrong, please don’t think any less of yourself. Even if you were fired for something you did wrong, forgive yourself and resolve to be a better person – but don’t think any less of yourself. A positive frame of mind is necessary when you meet with friends and associates, as well as potential employers.

And the word to remember is PATIENCE. It is hard to patient but being otherwise can ruin things.

I was cleaning up ~600 unread RSS feeds yesterday that I hadn’t gotten around to, and I ran across this article. It was clumped into my professional category of feeds. Not paying attention to who wrote this article or the blog it came from, I thought “This is a really good post! I should pass it on to Uncle Keri!”

I never got around to it. It finally hit me when I visited your blog today, the 11th, and saw it on your most recent articles, thus realizing it was you who wrote this article!
